Why is my Roam tracker beeping?
The beeping isn't a fault — it's part of the built-in safety system from Apple and Google, designed to prevent misuse (for example, someone secretly placing a tracker on another person).
It can sometimes trigger during normal use when:
- Your phone goes out of Bluetooth range, or Bluetooth is briefly turned off.
- The tracker is moving without being near its paired phone (the system assumes it may be "following" someone).
- Small vibrations or movement (e.g. in a bag) occur after the tracker has been idle for a while.
⚠️ Note: This feature cannot be disabled — it's controlled by Apple and Google. The good news: it does not affect tracking or normal use. It's simply the safety alert system working as intended.
