Yes, Roam seamlessly integrates with Apple’s Find My app or Google Find Hub, so you can locate your valuables directly from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, no extra app required.

Step 1. Power on your Roam

Press and hold the Roam button for 5 seconds. You’ll hear a beep. The device is now powered on and ready to pair.

Step 2. Add Roam to Apple Find My

  • Place the Roam next to your iOS device (within a few inches).
  • Open the Find My app → tap Items → tap the “+” → Add Other Item ⊕.
  • When Roam appears, tap to connect. Choose a name (e.g., “Keys”), pick an emoji (optional), then tap Agree to link the Roam to your Apple ID.
  • After setup, your Roam will appear in the Items list in the Find My app.

Set up the Lost & Found QR code

  •  Scan the QR printed on the back of your Roam.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to register and personalise the Lost & Found QR.
  • Activate your QR at app.roamsmarttracker.com, sign in so finders can easily contact you if your item is lost. 

Finding your Roam (day-to-day)

  • Open Find My → select your Roam.
  • Tap Play Sound to make the tracker buzz and help you locate it nearby.
  • Tap Directions or View in Maps to navigate to the tracker’s last-known location.

Turn on Lost Mode (if it’s missing)

  • In Find My, open Items, then select your Roam.
  • Under Lost Mode, tap Enable.
  • Follow the prompts to add a phone number or email, customize the message, and confirm.
  • Lost Mode will notify you if your ROAM is detected. When enabled, it securely displays only the contact information you choose to share with the person who scans the Lost & Found QR.

Remove or unpair your Roam

  • Open Find My → Items → select the Roam.
  • Tap Remove Item, then confirm Remove.
  • After removing the Roam will beep and automatically enter pairing mode (it will not switch off).
  • If you don’t re-pair within 10 minutes, the device exits pairing mode and returns to standby.

Quick troubleshooting & tips

  • If Roam doesn’t show up in Find My: toggle Bluetooth, make sure Location Services are on, and confirm Find My is enabled under Settings → Find My → Turn On.Keep Roam close during setup (true proximity helps initial pairing).
